dana a tredway – 5 stars on Amazon – As a mom of daughters, it was almost difficult to read. Knowing this family is living with this pain is my worst fear. However, it was beautifully written and gave me the courage to ponder so many issues around children and families that I will try not to take for granted. I do feel like I met Emma, and I so believe she’s not really gone. I loved the ideas around Emma’s soul life.
Amy Billone – 5 stars on Goodreads – I stayed up all night reading this book. Fairly early on, I began crying and I cried (often in a joyful way) from start to finish. Such a moving breathtaking stunning story. The book is so healing, it extends beyond a personal story to reach everyone’s story. It is connected to the times we live in today where technology has made possible afterlives and alternate lives that could not be conceived of in the same way before. I can easily imagine this book being optioned for a movie. It connects to everything people are interested in right now from Facebook to Vampire Diaries to Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games. An absolute must read.
G Mata – 5 stars on Amazon – A touching story that is well written. It captures both the joy and grief of Emma’s story beautifully.
Andrea R – 5 stars on Amazon – Knowing most of Emma’s family during their growing up years has helped me enter into the heartbreak of loosing her in such an untimely fashion. Donna’s sorrow is clearly driving this wonderful chance for all of us to look again at our hopes with regard to an afterlife as well as to dive into this intimate portrait of a well-loved young woman. I can only hope that writing this affectionate, personal book has brought Emma’s mother some of the peace she needs. I would certainly recommend “Tomorrow Comes, An Emma Story” to all who are facing, have faced, or will face the loss of a very much loved one–which means us all.
Mount Laurel Mom – 4 stars on Amazon – I enjoyed this book very much. Always hopeful and encouraged when reading about the possibility of an afterlife. Incredulous ability of the author to manage to compose this beautiful story on the flip side of a parents worst fear, losing a child.
